Biography

Silvan Kindle was an Alpine skier who represented Skiclub Triesen in Liechtenstein. In 1960 Kindle was one of three athletes that competed for the micro-nation at the Squaw Valley Olympics. At the Games he participated in the slalom, giant slalom, and the downhill events, with a best result of 21st coming in the former. His third cousin Hermann was also part of Liechtenstein’s delegation at the 1960 Games, with his daughter Jolanda competing in Alpine skiing at the 1984 and 1988 Games.
