Paul Bourotte won several professional track titles, notably the 1901 French motor-paced event and the 1902 Grand Prix de l’UVF. In 1901 he also placed second in the French professional sprint championship. He competed at the World Championships in the sprint in 1900, without placing. Some of his palmarès include placing second in 1897 at the French motor-paced track championship, and in 1900 he was second in the sprint at the Grand Prix d’Angers.
