Biography

Tony Cosey was a distance-runner who ran the steeplechase at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He competed at the World Cross-Country Championships in 1999, 2001, and 2002, running the shorter race in 2001-02.

Cosey attended the University of Tennessee, graduating in 1996 with a degree in psychology, and later earned a master’s degree in management in 1999. A native of Knoxville, he settled there with his family where he started Cosey Financial Services. He also coached high school track and cross-country runners and served as a volunteer assistant for the U Tennessee cross-country and track teams.
