Biography
Roberts Lapainis was a goalie who played for Latvia at the 1936 Winter Olympics. Lapainis also competed at the Winter World University Games in 1933, and the World Championships in 1935 and 1938-39. His career lasted from 1932-44, during which time he was with Union Rīga, ASK Rīga, Dinamo Rīga, and Rīga City, winning three Latvian championships.
