Biography

Pekka Lattunen was a Finnish speed skater who represented Pälkäneen Lukko in the 1960s. In 1963 Lattunen became the national champion in the 500 metres, earning himself a place on the Olympic team. He skated in the same event at the 1964 Innsbruck Games where he tied for 16th place with two other athletes. After the Olympics he worked as coach and trainer for both the Finnish Skating Association and the Finnish Sports Institute.

Personal Bests: 500 – 41.6 (1964); 1500 – 2:15.5 (1962); 5000 – 8:42.8 (1963); 10000 – 18:38.4 (1968).
