Alberto Angulo was a shooting guard who played for Spain at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He also won a silver medal at the 1999 EuroBasket and, with Real Madrid, he won the 2000 Liga ACB title. His other palmarès included winning the Saporta Cup in 1997 and the Spanish Cup in 1990.
Angulo began his career in 1989 with CB Zaragoza. He later played for Caja Badajoz (1990-91), CB León (1991-92), back with CB Zaragoza in 1992-96, Real Madrid from 1996-2002, and Lleida Bàsquet (2002-05), and finished his career with CAI Zaragoza in 2005-07. He later worked as a coach. His younger brother Lucio was also a professional basketball player.
