Biography
Alfredo Inciarte was a lawyer and businessman in Uruguay, who served as director and President of several textile, banking, metallurgical, hotel and commercial firms. He participated in several sports recreationally. In sports administration Inciarte was President of the National Yacht Club and National Rowing Federation in Uruguay and was a director of the Uruguayan Automobile Centre. Inciarte was co-opted onto the IOC in 1963, and remained a member until his death in December 1975.
