Biography

Alma Davenport was an American ice dancer who competed before ice dancing was an Olympic event. At the 1968 Grenoble Winter Olympics she and Roger Berry competed in the demonstration ice dancing event. With Berry she had placed second in 1967 at the US Championships and ninth at the World Championships. Davenport skated for the Aspen Skating Club. She later became a figure skating coach, and settled in Australia, coaching at the Liverpool Catholic Club Ice Skating Club.
