Romeo Proulx was a left winger who played for the Lake Placid AC in three exhibition games at the 1932 Lake Placid Winter Olympics. He played against Germany, Poland, and a combined USA-Canada team.
Proulx was an educator who served as the principal at Lake Placid High School from 1944-59. He started the Lake Placid High School Winter Carnival in 1944, supported by parents and faculty. In his honor the Romeo Proulx Midget Hockey Tournament is still held annually in Lake Placid.
