Duke Harrison was an excellent player in both field and box lacrosse during the late 1930s and 1940s. He was also an outstanding scorer playing for Mimico and later for the Etobicoke Indians, winning a Mann Cup ring with the 1932 Mimico team. Harrison worked in the mailroom of a newspaper and was later inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame in 1998.
