Jack Worthy began his nearly 40-year career as a player and coach in 1919 in Brampton, but he came to fame with the Hamilton Tigers when he captained the team that won the 1933 Mann Cup. After retiring from active play and coaching he was also an official with the Ontario lacrosse Association. In 1974 Worthy was inducted into the Canadian Lacrosse Hall of Fame.
