Susanna Lee

Originally from South Korea tennis player Susanna Lee spent most of her life in the United States. Lee competed for South Korea at the 1984 Los Angeles Olympics where tennis was a demonstration sport. She lost in the first round to Sabrina Goleš who went on to be the tournament’s runner-up.

Lee attended high school in Westminster, California, where she played for the school team for three years, before enrolling at Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah in 1985. While at BYU she won two All-America titles, three All-HCAC titles in singles and doubles, and was a regular on the tennis collegiate circuit. Lee graduated from BYU in 1995 and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2002. Lee married an American dentist and settled in the United States after college.
