Frank “Butch” Medanich was a Canadian-born player for the Cal Golden Bears who played for the West Team in 1932. He did not start, but was a center who substituted for Stanley Williamson. Medanich was of Croatian descent. He settled in the Bay Area of California and later became President of Assurance Glass Company in Oakland, California, and of the Bay Cities Glass Dealers Association.
