Loung Pham competed in taekwondo as a demonstration sport at the 1988 Seoul Olympics. He competed as a flyweight, finishing in a tie for fifth. He was US Champion as a finweight in 1984 and as a flyweight in 1986 and 1989.
Pham was a Vietnamese emigré who graduated from Wright State University. He became a financial planner, starting Axim Wealth Management, LLC, and served as the CEO and owner. Prior to forming his own company he was vice-president of Investments at UBS Financial, Smith Barney, Ameriprise and Edward Jones Investments.
