Austrian track cyclist Roland Garber participated in the Madison at the 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens Olympics. With Werner Riebenbauer he placed fifth in Sydney and with Franz Stocher eighth in Athens. With Stocher, he won the silver medal at the 2002 World Championships.
Garber, who won 30 Austrian National titles, later owned a cycle shop in Wien (Vienna). His father Walter was a long-time organiser of the Lower Austria Tour.
