Margie Goldstein-Engle was an equestrienne show jumper who competed at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. She won six World Cup events and 20 Nations Cups between 1984-2005. She won the American Grandprix Association’s Rider of the Year award in 1989, 1991, 1994-96, 2000-01, 2003, and 2005-06.
Goldstein-Engle won a full set of medals at the Pan American Games, with a team gold in 2003, team silver in 1999, and individual bronze in 2003. At the 2006 World Equestrian Games she won a silver in team jumping. During her riding career Goldstein-Engle won 195 Grand Prix victories, and as of 2011 was the all-time career leader in Grand Prix wins.
Goldstein-Engle graduated from Florida International University with a major in business education. She was inducted into the US Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2001, the International Jewish Sports Hall of Fame in 2009, and the US Show Jumping Hall of Fame in 2021.
