Sasha Victorine was a soccer (football) midfielder who played at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Victorine was on the US National Team from 2000-03 and won a bronze medal at the 1999 Pan American Games. He earned four international caps.
Victorine played for UCLA from 1996-99, leading them to the 1997 NCAA title, and was named first-team All-American in 1999. After college he played in Major League Soccer (MLS) from 2000-09, first with the LA Galaxy from 2000-04, then the Kansas City Wizards in 2005-08, before finishing his career with Chivas USA in 2008-09.
Retiring in early 2010, Victorine served as a US sports envoy in Cyprus for the US Department of State in November 2010, conducting basketball and soccer clinics for youths in under-privileged areas. He later worked for the Kansas City Wizards in their front office and did some soccer commentary on television.
