Alois Mitschek was an Austrian painter, graphics and poster artist. In the 1920s, he worked in a studio in Wien (Vienna) together with Theo Matejko, a press draftsman and illustrator. In 1931, he joined the Austrian Graphic Design Association. After World War II, he produced a number of posters and brochures, particularly for the promotion of tourism in Lower Austria. For some time, he may have worked in Czechoslovakia under the name of Alois Miček.
