Graphic artist Aase Lundsteen later married the veterinarian Phillip Hoffmann-Madsen. Like his wife, he joined the Danish Nazi Party as early as 1934. There, he became a senior functionary and in 1943 volunteered for the Waffen-SS (Armed SS) on the Eastern Front. He was convicted after the war and later emigrated to Argentina. Aase Lundsteen also designed covers for party publications.
