Auguste Estrel, as he was listed in the catalog, was a pseudonym of the French painter Georges Rasetti II. He worked with his father of the same name in Great Britain. In France, he exhibited at the Salons d’Automne and Indépendants. In addition to sports motifs, he painted landscapes and genre scenes, preferably in oil on canvas or cardboard. After the death of his parents, Estrel/Rasetti moved to Southern France.
