Lucien Seevagen was a French landscape and architectural painter and etcher who studied at the School of Decorative Arts in Paris. He settled with his wife on the Île-de-Bréhat in the 1920s. There, Seevagen painted many local landscapes and scenes but also painted scenes from other parts of Bretagne and France. He exhibited regularly in numerous salons in France, as well as in the francophone part of Canada. Also known are some oriental works by him.
