May Power was the eldest daughter of Albert G. Power (1881-1945), a well-known sculptor, and also took up this profession. She lived and worked in Dublin and had her main creative period between 1933 and 1951. She exhibited several times at the Royal Hibernian Academy Annual Exhibition and later compiled her father’s catalogue raisonné.
