Zygmunt Grabowski was a Polish painter and author. He studied at the Warsaw School of Art from 1911 and served in the Polish Legions during World War I. In the interwar period he painted mainly war scenes but also portraits, landscapes and still lifes in oil and watercolor. Additionally, Grabowski produced satirical lithographs, book covers and advertising graphics. He died in 1939 only a few days after the German attack on Poland. His entry, the painting Polo, is said to have been acquired for the National Gallery in Berlin.
