Josef Václavik was an architect who studied at the Czechoslovak University of Technology from 1920-25. He designed and planned a number of buildings, mainly in Praha, often with Bohumil Kněžek. Their works included villas, schools and office buildings. Václavík’s designs were considered to be from the functionalism school.
