Biography

John Dunn entered the painting section of the 1932 Arts Competition. Dunn was an artist in the 1930s who often painted horses, and his entry at the 1932 Olympics was entitled Polo. He worked primarily in water colors. Only a few of his paintings are known; among them Polo Match from the 1930s, a watercolor and gouache on paper (38 x 55 cm). However, it is very likely that he used polo motifs more than once.
