Henry Lion was a sculptor and painter of Armenian descent from Los Angeles. He studied from 1920-1924 at the Otis Art Institute, and for many years taught sculpture at the Hollywood Art Center. Most of his works were executed in traditional bronze and stone. Lion wrote the book Sculpture for Beginners.
