Biography

Ellen Wilson was an American judoka who fought at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. She won a bronze medal at the 2003 Pan American Games, and competed at the World Championships in 1997 and 1999.

Wilson won the US Championship in 1996-97. Her other major titles include the 1998 Canadian Rendez-Vous, the 1999 Maruchan US International, and the 1999 Pan American Championships.

She attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs, majoring in communications. Wilson was from Salinas, California and in 2017 was inducted into the Salinas Valley Sports Hall of Fame.
