Marcus Mielke was a German rower who finished 12th with the lightweight coxless fours at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. In 1996 he won the World Championships with the lightweight eights, and in 1997 added a bronze with the lightweight coxless fours. Domestically, Mielke won the national title with the lightweight coxless fours in 1997 and 2000, and with the eights from 1996-98. He studied sports and became a graduated sports scientist.
