Biography
Lance Dement competed in running target shooting at the 2000 Sydney Olympics. He graduated in 1987 from the Department of Defense School at Yakota Air Force Base in Japan. Dement was in the Army at the time of his Olympic appearance and continued his studies at Troy State University. He joined the US Army Marksmanship Unit in 1991 and joined their running target team in 1995.
