Cindy Gentry was a shotgun shooter who competed in trap and double trap at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, earning her spot as the 2000 USA Champion. Gentry won four medals at the World Championships, with golds in 1999 trap shooting and 1998 team double trap, a silver in the 1998 team trap event and bronze in the 1998 individual double trap.
Gentry attended school at the University of Georgia and then earned a graduate degree from Georgia State University.
