Biography

Mariana Mesa was a Colombian tennis player who played professionally from 1994 to 2000. Mesa achieved a career-best singles ranking of #281 in the world in July 2000 and a doubles ranking of #174 in the world, also in July 2000. On the ITF Circuit she won five singles and seven doubles titles during her career, often in tournaments in South America. Mesa was 15-years-old when she played in her first Fed Cup match for Colombia, eventually playing in 12 ties during her career. In 2000 she played in the doubles with Fabiola Zuluaga at the Sydney Olympics.
