Magüi Serna was a Spanish tennis player who played professionally from 1996 to 2006. Serna achieved a career-best singles ranking of #19 in the world in January 2004 and a doubles ranking of #25 in the world in July 2004. In July 2001 she won her first WTA title with victory in the doubles with compatriot Vivi Ruano at the Knokke-Heist in Belgium. Between April 2002 and April 2003 she won three WTA singles titles before winning another doubles title a year later, this time with Australian Alicia Molik at the Eastbourne International in England.
Serna played in the singles at the 2000 and 2004 Olympics but did not advance from the first round on either occasion. Her best singles performance at a Grand Slam also came in 2000 when she reached the quarter-finals at Wimbledon, losing to Jelena Dokic in straight sets. Two years later Serna and Conchita Martínez reached the semi-finals at the Australian Open, but lost to Daniela Hantuchová and Arantxa Sánchez Vicario.
