Biography

Born in Casablanca, Morocco in 1979, Arnaud Di Pasquale played professional tennis for France from 1998 to 2007. Di Pasquale achieved a career-best singles ranking of #39 in the world in April 2000 and a doubles ranking of #320 in the world in April 2001. In 1997 he had a promising start to his career, winning the junior singles at the US Open and finishing as a runner-up in the junior doubles at the French Open. Despite this, he only won one ATP title after turning professional, with victory at the Campionati Internazionali di Sicilia tournament in Italy in October 1999. Di Pasquale reached the fourth round at the French Open in 1999 and 2002, but will probably be best remembered for winning bronze at the 2000 Sydney Olympics after beating the great Roger Federer.
