Anne Kremer was a tennis player from Luxembourg who played professionally from 1998 to 2014. Kremer achieved a career-best singles ranking of 18 in the world in July 2002, and a doubles ranking of 140 in the world in May 2002.
Kremer won her first singles title on the ITF Circuit in July 1994 in La Coruña, Spain, with a straight sets win against Paula Hermida. She won four more ITF singles titles and a doubles title in March 2011 when she teamed with Tímea Babos of Hungary. She won two WTA singles titles in 2000 with victories against Cara Black at the Auckland Open and Tatiana Panova at the Pattaya Open. Kremer’s best singles Grand Slam performances where when she reached the third round at Wimbledon (1999, 2004) and the French Open (2002).
Kremer represented Luxembourg in the singles at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics, 2000 Sydney Olympics, and the 2004 Athína Olympics. Her best performance came at the Sydney Games when she reached the second round where she lost to Amanda Coetzer. At the Athína Games she competed in the doubles with Claudine Schaul but the pair lost their first round match. Kremer was also the flag bearer for Luxembourg at the Opening Ceremony of the Atlanta Games.
