Jennifer Gutierrez

Jennifer Gutierrez competed in the triathlon at the 2000 Sydney Olympics, finishing 13th. Gutierrez attended Pepperdine University where she was a four-year letterwoman in swimming. She did her first triathlon in 1994 and turned professional in 1995. Gutierrez placed fourth at the 1999 Pan American Games.

Gutierrez raced the World Cup circuit from 1995 through 2001. She had 41 recorded starts in international competition, with seven podiums and two race wins. She competed at the Goodwill Games in 1998 and 2001 and at the World Championships in 1997-99 and 2001.
