Kevin Barnett was a volleyballer who competed for the United States at the 2000 and 2004 Olympic Games. He played in college at Pepperdine University. After his playing career ended, he went into broadcasting, working for NBC, FOX Sports West, Pac-12 Network, ESPN, Longhorn Network, Universal and Sports, commentating on volleyball and other sports. He later started his own media company which produced and managed content on the internet and linear programming.
