Biography
Rick Mewborn was the 1986 US champion on the normal hill and 1987 champion on the large hill. He began jumping at Howelsen Hill near Steamboat Springs, Colorado and would later return there to coach ski jumping. Mewborn also runs his own excavation company. He is a member of the American Ski Jumping Hall of Fame.
