Mark Militano skated pairs with his sister Melissa. They were second at the US Championships in 1970-72, and won the title in 1973. At the World Championships they placed eighth in 1969, 1970, and 1973, sixth in 1971, and ninth in 1972. Militano later became a coach and choreographer for skaters. He has married twice, firstly to the former Anne Batford, the twin sister of well-known skating coach Mary Scotvold, and then to Jana Sjodin who represented the US at the World Junior Championships.
Mark and Jana Militano run Milimar Inc., a company involved in both recreational and competitive skating services.
