Ken Morris lived in Kew Gardens in Queens, New York in 1972. He was the third seat on the four-man sled driven by Boris Said at the 1972 Winter Olympics. Morris almost did not make the 1972 Winter Olympics, crashing in a ride with Harry Peterson only a few days before the Olympics. Morris sustained only some cuts and bruises and was able to compete, but Peterson dislocated an elbow and was out of the Olympics.
