Forward Peter Obresa was a member of the West German ice hockey team that placed fifth at the 1988 Calgary Winter Olympics. In total, he earned 61 international caps, scoring 10 goals and appearing at three World Championships.
Domestically, Obresa played with Mannheimer ERC (until 1978 and 1979-93, German Champion in 1980), VfL Bad Nauheim (1978-79), and Frankfurter ESC (until 1997). He then started a coaching career at lower league clubs.
