Biography

Michael Puschacher was an ice hockey goalkeeper who played at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics representing Austria. The team was eliminated in the group stage and finally placed 12th and last, after losing the match for 11th place to Norway 3-1. Puschacher won 21 international caps. At the club level Puschacher played with EC Klagenfurter AC throughout his entire career. He helped them to win the Austrian championship six times (1985-88, 1991, 2000).

Puschacher later worked as a project assistant for a sports management course. At the same time, he also served as a consultant for a Swiss company in the field of sports and business consulting. In 2004, Puschacher became responsible for the hockey division as Business Unit Manager at Fischer Sports GmbH.
