Biography

On either side of World War II Amédée Ronzel competed for France at the Olympic Games in the bobsleigh. Ronzel was part of the second French sled that participated in the four-man event at the 1936 Garmisch-Partenkirchen Games. Their Olympic participation was a short one, however, after they failed to finish the first of the four runs. He had better luck at the 1948 St. Moritz Olympics when the French team finished ninth.
