Left-winger Ulf Sandström started his hockey career with MoDo Hockey in 1986 and played there until 1990. From 1990-92 he played with Luleå HF and from 1992-96 played with Bodens IK. Sandström then played one season in Finland, playing half the season with KalPa and the other half with Tappara, before finishing his career back with Bodens IK from 1997-98. Internationally, Sandström was capped 47 times with the Swedish national team and won an Olympic bronze in 1988, the only major international tournament in which he participated.
