René Savoie was a goaltender who minded the nets for Switzerland at the 1920 and 1924 Winter Olympics. He also played at the 1922 European Championships, helping the Swiss team to a bronze medal. Savoie began playing hockey in 1918 and spent his entire career with Château d’Oex, retiring after the 1924 Chamonix Olympics.
