Austrian bobsledder Karl Schwarzböck participated in the 1956 Cortina d’Ampezzo Winter Olympics. He was a crew member of Austria 2 with Kurt Loserth, Wilfried Thuner and Frank Dominik, placing seventh. Schwarzböck took part in the 1958 World Championships with non-Olympian Robert Zenz in the two-men event and finished 15th.
