Biography

Carl Springer had a brief speed skating career, competing mostly from 1930-33. He won the 1930 Silver Skates competition in New York, and the 1931 Westchester Country Championships. In 1933 he competed for the United States in a dual meet in Oslo against Norway.

Personal Bests: 500 – 45.2 (1933); 1500 – 2:27.1 (1933); 5000 – 8:57.7 (1933); 10000 – 18:54.3 (1933).
