Biography

Jano Starši played ice hockey for Czechoslovakia at the 1960 Squaw Valley Winter Olympics, just missing a medal as the team finished fourth. He also competed four times at the World Championships, in 1958-59, 1961, and 1963. Starši played most of his club career with Slovan Bratislava from 1953-66, although in 1954-56 he was with Spartak Praha Sokolovo.
