Canadian-born Ken Strong was an ice hockey centre who played at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics representing Austria. The team was eliminated in the group stage and finally placed 12th and last, after losing the match for 11th place to Norway 3-1. Strong won 22 international caps scoring 15 points (9+6).
At club level, Strong played in Canada with Streetsville Derbys, Peterborough Peters, Toronto Maples Leaves (NHL), and St. Catharines Saints. After moving to Europe, he played in Switzerland with EHC Chur and HC Martigny, and in Austria he played with Villacher SV and Kapfenberger SV. Strong won the Austrian national title with Villacher SV in 1992 and 1993. After his playing career, Strong founded the Strong Hockey academy near Toronto and was dedicated to training talented players of all ages.
