Radoslav Svoboda was a defenseman who had a relatively short career in the Czechoslovakian League. He was with HC Dukla Jihlava from 1978-86 and then spent a final year with TJ Zetor Brno before retiring. Internationally, Svoboda played for Czechoslovakia at the 1984 Winter Olympics, winning a silver medal, and at three World Championships, winning a medal each time – a gold in 1985 and silvers in 1982-83. He also played at the 1981 Canada Cup, where Czechoslovakia placed third.
