Tim Tetreault skied at the University of Vermont, where he was an engineering major. Tetreault had one World Cup podium finish, third in a 15K individual event in Finland in 1997. He won a World Cup B event in Germany in 1995. Tetreault was the US Nordic combined champion in 1992 and 1993. At the 1991 World Winter University Games, he placed seventh. Tetreault started as an Alpine skier but switched to ski jumping as a sophomore in high school.
